Pdloynes
Hi,We're looking to put an offer in on a property in ED in the next couple of days. However, we are trying to ascertain the feasibility of converting the loft space...as the roof isn't very high pitched. We understand that we'd most likely be looking at needing to lower the first floor ceilings. However, we are hoping we could have a builder come to the property and offer an opinion as to whether the work can be done at all with the current roof height. (Also assuming that we probably wouldn't get planning permission to raise the roof). In any case...we're willing to pay a small fee for this initial consultation. If anyone is available in the next day or so (or has a recommendation of someone) please PM me. Thanks so much in advance! I really appreciate any help or suggestions. P.S. I've already tried contacting a lot of the recommended builders in the forum. Jeremy
Someone like Loft-Life or Classic Lofts will come round and view the place without fee and give you their opinion.
