THEME: BEACH HOLIDAY - dressing up encouraged

Go crazy swirling and twirling your little ones on the outdoor dance floor and show them how you get down to the latest pop tunes and those retro disco classics that you love to dance to (go on, admit it!) Let us entertain your little ones whilst you enjoy that summer beer or jug of Pimms! There are child friendly drinks and snacks available to buy to complete this fun packed afternoon.

Bring your holiday accessories for this awesome garden party in our secret, sheltered garden. Whether you?re a pirate or a mermaid, a lifeguard or a shark, all are welcome.

* Bad weather? We just take everything inside!

Hopefully the BBQ will be burning so you can grab a bite to eat before, during or after the event (other menu options also available of course!). A great place to meet up with friends - so why not invite them along??

We will also have facilities (in or outdoor) with tunnels and tents for a little time out. Nappy changing facilities can be found inside the pub. There will be a designated area for buggies and a baby cosy corner.

    • Thanks both! Unfortunately my mobile doesn't support a charging mat. I will try the place by the station, which is more convenient for me than Forest Hill Road  I'm avoiding Rye Lane as my daughter had a very bad experience at one of the shops there (I think it was a battery replacement and the "new"  battery failed almost immediately. Unfortunately she doesn't live in London and couldn't take it back) and there are so many I don't know which may be ok.
    • No, unlike power meters they can force one on you, whether you want one or not. They did on me, and it's on the stopcock in the pavement outside my house. They can also force you to accept metered charges.
    • They said you didn’t have a meter even though you did? Utterly bizarre.   I also thought that the water company wasn’t allowed to fit a meter unless you asked for one.
    • I know this isn’t the same but I’m using it to illustrate how some people can laugh at very inappropriate things they should not be laughing at.  I was once knocked down by an out of control Rottweiler who barrelled into me from the back when I was walking in a park with my dog. I landed on my back and his owners laughed at me instead of coming to see if I was ok. This dog later went on to bite the hand of the owner of a tiny dog who picked him up to keep him away from the Rottweiler. The owner of the small dog never appeared in the park again as they were worried about being bitten (or the dog) again.  We (me and other dog walkers but not the owner who was bitten - we encouraged her to report it but she was too petrified) ended up reporting the owner to the police by following him to see where he lived.  This parent sounds like a dickhead.
