Not putting prices on things being advertised

Is it just me or is it incredibly annoying when people advertising things don't put prices on their workshops, events, classes? (I've just looked at one).

It would completely put me off enquiring further, because (I would speculate):

i) its expensive so they want you to contact them so they can reel you in

ii) they want your name for a marketing list

iii) they think we're all rolling in it.

Maybe I'm just a grumpy old bastard, so what do others think?

They are doing 1 of three things

1. Hiding the vary high price

2. Think they can sell it to you by clever marketing talk

3. Charging differing prices depending on what they think you can afford.

4. Forgot to put the price on.

I agree too. I also walk out of shops if the price tags aren't obvious

I agree as well.

And it really annoys me if prices aren't marked on things in shops/market stalls.

I assume the seller is going to ask the highest price they think they can get away with after looking the customer over (so, probably not very high in my case, but still :)) )
