Pickle
We spent a lovely week in New Romney last summer. We rented a house, but there were lots of options down that way, caravans, beach houses etc. Loads to do, nice beaches, and only an hour or so to drive to from here. EmilyPie
We like Suffolk coast and heaths. Southwold and aldeburgh both lovely seasidey resorts, in quite a well healed way, orford a bit wilder and bleaker (in a good, windswept way) and nice villages inland with lovely wild heathland for walking and exploring. Try http://www.suffolk-secrets.co.uk/?gclid=CLS6p_b_774CFaQIwwodajUALQ Also a pretty easy drive. Petrichor
We're going here this soon http://swallowtailhill.com. Lots of outdoor space, not beach side but fairly close to Rye and Camber Sands I think?
