Bessemer Grange New Starters Welcome Picnic

F@B

Recommended Posts

Families with children starting in Reception at Bessemer Grange Primary School this September are invited to join Friends at Bessemer for a Welcome Picnic in the school's beautiful Nature Garden from 11.30am to 1.00pm on Friday 20 June.

We will be organising games and giving children an opportunity to meet their new classmates in a fun and relaxed environment. For parents/carers this is a chance to meet other Reception families and arrange further meet ups over the Summer (we will be setting up a group email to facilitate this).

Please bring your own picnic, and do let us know if you're coming by emailing [email protected].

If you're unable to make the picnic but would like to be included in the F@B emails, which provide news about upcoming events at the school, please get in touch.

We look forward to meeting you!

    • You can get a card at the till, though, to get the discount. You don't have to carry it with you (or load it onto your phone), you can just get a different card each time. Not sure what happens if they notice 🤣
    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
