Am at a total loss of what to get oh for our 6th wedding anniversary, the traditional theme is iron... I thought about le creuset cast iron stuff but we don't really need anything... I thought about something related to sources of iron (red meat, pulses, dried fruit etc) but can't think of anything.... I looked for cast iron gifts on google but nothing there really took my fancy either!

Any other ideas guys?

Thanks for the suggestions! Saffron all your thoughts got my mind whirring and I've ended up getting him a vintage style wall-mounted cast iron bottle opener thing from ebay (I was thinking he could put it out by the BBQ in the garden), thanks again! And yes sugar is the other one, but I just bought him a load of chocolate for Father's Day, so I think we have enough naughty stuff in the house for the time being! X

Otta, i thought that too. we just had our 6th and I wanted to give my other half the box set. (Unfortunately too broke to do so but it's the thought that counts).

    • No need to provoke you since you respond constantly to everything. It is not a gross exaggeration - I took photos. Do you not like people answering back? A bit head girl aren't you. Unkempt roads and weed-lifted pavements with dog faces bags all over the place - when the blue bags, which are regularly not collected by the LA, are split open by foxes. Again, I have photos.
    • Came across this link today that generates a stock letter to you MP if you object to the Proposed chases in their current format.  https://takingthepip.co.uk/write-to-your-mp/#letter Again, not trying to change individuals minds on here but get a fair consultation and discussion  Only thing to remember is add your contact number to the bottom.orherwise it is ignored
    • @HeadNun I haven't been through the assessment for mental health issues, god knows they treat you like you have one when you are assessed for motability issues. Therefore I can't comment on what you've read but don't always believe what the media telks you as they often sensationalise things to sell papers and bend the story slightly 😉  All I am doing in this thread is asking people who disagree to the PIP reform in its current format to write to their MP to say so and ask for a well consulted and thought through change. I'm not here to change people's minds but happy to discuss how disability impacts lives.
