Man & Van / Removal services

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend a good local removals company / or a man with a van?

I've had a good look around online but there seem to be so many companies with so many conflicting reviews. I'm wondering if anyone has had a particularly good service - for a reasonable price of course - and wouldn't mind pointing me in that direction?

Thanks,

Chris.

Hi,

I do understand this is an old post but I do feel that I need to spread the word about Superb Moves.

We used superbmoves (or perhaps it's .co.uk) and they were excellent. Our move wasn't easy, with a number of things needing to go into storage and then being delivered on the move day but it all went very smoothly. I'd definitely take a look at them. Highly recommended.

    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first?
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.

Neighbours have had some and we've left some outside the house but I was thinking we could pass some on to a foodbank - or even to Kings if they're allowed to take in fruit?   Suggestions appreciated.
