ladyruskin
It's my birthday on Thursday and me & the Mr have both taken the day off work whilst our son is at nursery. I'd like to do something/go somewhere that I don't usually get the chance to do. My husband has suggested a day in Brighton but it's not really sparking my imagination. We need to be back to do nursery pick up at 5:30-6pm, we have a car at our disposal, what would you do with this opportunity? enjoy
Hamptons court.Or (my personal wish): petersham nurseries near richmond and a nice walk along the thames.Or (that's what we did on our wedding anniversary): from kings cross along the regents canal, until camden or further to litte vencice, have a nice lunch on the way. srisky
Depends whether you want a lazy day or a crazy day. We both took the day off on my birthday and opted for a lazy day, since our usual day is crazy. We went had a long lazy bike ride around Hyde Park, lunch by the Serpentine, ice creams and generally some time together. For me, that was perfect for others that would be really boring! The bike ride, in itself, was great as neither of us had ridden a bike in a decade. ladyruskin
Thanks. The weather forecast & your suggestions of a lazy day have inspired me to propose a drive out to Ightham Mote with a picnic. Although looking a the cafe menu at Petersham Nurseries I could be persuaded otherwise!
