Hello! I'm an East Dulwich resident, running a small design studio in Shoreditch / Old Street.

We're looking for someone to help us out for half a day or a day a week (paid) with studio admin tasks.

Will need to come to our sunny, busy loft studio (Shoreditch/Old Street, London) one or a couple of mornings or afternoons a week.

Would suit anyone working part-time already, or a stay-at-home parent, looking for some very light and flexible work.

If it goes great, there's always the opportunity for more, but we're starting simple.

Please message for more information.

Thanks and best wishes,

Ben

Hi,

I am interested in the Admin role.

I am CIPD qualified in Human Resources and am currently volunteering for Pact Prison Advice Two day per week just to gain some experience for the confidence to progress in my career.

Could you get back to me roughly with an outline of what tasks you require assistance with and your pay rate.

Many thanks,

Ashley Walker

Hi Ben,

Have you filled this post? If not I would be interested. I have another part time job where I can organise the hours to be worked, so this would be ideal for me. I have previous reception, front of house and admin experience. Let me know if you would like me to pop in to see you with my CV for a chat.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Regards Hannah

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
