The lovely Sawm (pronounced "Song") has set up on her own at Linda's Hair and Beauty at the top of Lordship Lane opposite the old Harvester. As an introductory offer there is currently 25% off massages and 20% off beauty treatments (waxing etc) and they do all the usual including nails (manicure/pedicure).

The starting price for treatments is pretty reasonable any way but as an example a half leg wax is usually ?16 and now ?12.80 and an hour massage is usually ?40 and now ?30.

The massages especially are exceptional (and strong which I like) - I have been going to her for a number of years including before and after two babies!

Her number is 07455161015

No website as yet but will be soon.

  • 4 weeks later...

I thought I should add the Landline number 02082998882

And full address is 503 lordship lane se228jy

Mon-Wed 930-7pm

Thurs 930-8pm

Friday 930-7pm

Saturday 930-6pm

Promotion has now finished but prices still v reasonable

Eg:

Brazilian ?15

Hour massage ?40

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
