If you are interested in joining a meet up (most likely in the park or playground) over the summer holidays for children starting in Lowry class in Reception at Dulwich Infants this year, please reply or PM me. It would be nice to see some familiar faces (children and parents!) come September.

Hello,

My son, Raphael, will be in Lowry class and won't know anyone so I'd love to join a meet up - we are away most of August but around this Sunday and then from 1st September. Imagine some dates have been suggested so please do let me know.

Many thanks! Amanda

Hi - I heard from a friend you were looking to set up a reception class meet up. I have suggested to a group of parents I know that we meet on 31st August in Sunray gardens. If you would like to join up let me know and I will send you the details. I've invited all 3 classes.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
