Hamlets/Victus Health club...what's going on?

Hi all,

Does anyone use the Hamlets health, or what is now Victus health club? I know it changed hands recently and I have been trying really hard to find out about classes etc there but it's impossible. I've called, got a sullen bloke on the phone who had no idea about anything and told me to come down and 'look at the board for info'. So, I did and was met by possibly the same guy (was different day) who still had no info, pointed me around recepetion looking for non existent leaflets, then sent me upstairs to ask the trainers about anything and everything I wanted to know. Trainers upstairs were very pleasant and one took my email and promsied to contact me about classes but hasn't. I've emailed via their website and still heard nothing! What's going on there and does anyone have a contact there who might actually know?

I went there many years ago. The woman on reception was smoking a fag, in a health club

Now it was sometime ago, but the attitude seems to have prevailed

Try else where, the Lido at Brockwell isn't too far.

Ha, really? The guy I spoke to wouldn't have been able to be bothered to lift one to his lips I don't think.
