Men - Improve your health - Join a choir

Recommended Posts

We are Note-Orious, East Dulwich's fun community choir and we are looking for new Tenor and Bass singers to join us this autumn. Rehearsals start one month today on 8th September and we are offering free taster session to Tenor and Bass singers that night. We are a no audition choir, if you think you can hold a tune we would love to meet you. Recent studies by Oxford Brooks University have found that singing in a choir has greater health benefits than playing team sports. Why not give us a go. If you would like to secure a space on our free taster session please email us on [email protected]. For more information visit our wesbite www.note-orious.co.uk

I'm a member of this fab choir. Term started last Monday 8th, but it's not too late to join. We're looking for male singers, ie basses and tenors. There are no auditions. Simply come along for one Monday night free taster session and see if you like it.

    • Another happy customer. Would recommend Lucasz. Good quality work and reasonable rate

    • Walking around, it looks to me as if weedkiller has been used, as some weeds have been left in situ but are dead. However, most of the weeds which have been (apparently)  killed in this way are hardly likely to lift pavements, being things like Shepherd's Purse. They might seed around, but I'm not sure what harm that does. I would like to know exactly what is the remit of the council workers who are tasked with dealing with weeds in pavements (and in tree pits?). Things like dandelions which have taproots (but are hard to remove in one piece)  have been left in the pavement,  whereas things like Toadflax (which don't, and are easy to just pull out) have been removed.
    • Yet another recommendation for Casper the  handyman.   He recently completed some odd jobs around our house including installing curtain rails and hanging pictures.  He offered practical solutions to the issues that arose, was efficient and communicative.  Very reasonable rates. We’ll be using his services again and have recommended to family & friends.
