Hi everyone!


A charity in Peckham is closing down and all items are on sale! They are selling various items from school tables, chairs, white board, computers to beautiful hand made cushions, table covers, throws all made in Pakistan.


We are holding a closing down sale on the 13th September and most things in the building are for sale. You are most welcome to come before this date as the building is open everyday and all items will be priced and ready to sell.


Here is a price list to give you an idea of things we are selling:


School chairs: ?2

computers: ?150

Display Boards: ?10

Office Desks: ?40

School Desks: ?10


There is also a huge amount of nursery items that must be sold. These include:

Small tables and chairs

Toys (from 0-5)

Outdoor Toys


These will all be ?20 and less.


The other items on sale will be hand made from Pakistan and can be used for home decorations. These Include:


Hand made colorful big cushion covers: ?10

Hand Made table covers: small: ?10 Medium: ?20 Large:?25

Antique Hand made wooden chairs: ?85

Decorative large lamp: ?150

Drums: ?150

Various Brass plates, bowls cups

Large fish Tank + Fish: ?60

    • Well I did say I stand to be corrected! Fair enough, their website only seemed to list three branches. Perhaps it's a franchise model?  It's known as 'agglomeration' in economics Rookie error.

    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
