Repointing, brickwork and exterior decoration

Just finished having the whole house repointed and can recommend the work done by Alan and Steve. The repointing and brick repairs are very well done and there are some really nice touches around the windows and decorative brickwork that show the care they have taken.

They also did the exterior redecoration (including fixing some previous bodges) and it all looks great.

I looked them up having read recommendations on the forum (so thank you to previous posters) and saw the work on another house in ED.

The kind of guys you can trust with keys. Alan is on 0777 557 3857.

- Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
