Hi Edfers

Just wanted to impart a psa (public service announcement for those not of my generation)...our car got broken into last night on the corner of Ryedale and Cornflower Terrace. Various things nicked but nothing they could make a great deal of money from. Thankfully the car's not damaged... but just keep your eyes open and valuables safe.

Best regds....

Yeah possibly so...but given that nothing was on show (in a locked boot) and I only put my work kit in there at 4am...then discovered it missing at 6.30am...i think we've a right to feel that that's not too risky a way to behave.

But as you say....clearly not.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?

    • Get used to it! 'major incidents' are a regular occurrence these days! some ignored by mainstream media.
