We've still space for a few more parties across a couple of weekends before Christmas, and, if you're planning ahead, we've got good availability for January and February, so do get in touch if you want to have a chat about any thoughts for parties!

If any of you are feeling super organised, we're now trying to plan our January and February (and even beyond...) Nimble antics, and so are taking bookings for parties now! As well as the parties above, we can also do a super quick 30 minute song session (think of us as the Nimble jukebox!), ?50 for 30 minutes so long as you're within 2 miles of SE15 (then ?2 per mile extra!).

December is now pretty choca, but always worth trying us for a last minute enquiry!

Nimble HQ is closing for Christmas soon, but we've still some space for January and February parties, plus more room later in the year, so if you're looking for a bespoke, creative kids party, using music, crafts, drama or something more, do get in touch. There's more information on our website at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=881, or you can drop us a line at [email protected] - we'll try to get back to you this week before we pack up for Christmas!

We've got some party spaces left for February and March (although helps if you're a little flexible with your dates, as we're getting a bit busy), but we're now taking bookings for later into 2015 too.

As well as the story, song and craft packages listed above, we've just done our first detective mystery party and it was a ball! We've yet to get full details on the website, but if you're looking for something a bit different, we can train your party guests up to become mini-detectives (with lots of party games, magnifying glasses and code cracking), and, as they meet a series of eccentric characters, will they be able to solve the whodunnit?

We're also developing lots more party ideas, and we're probably always happiest when tackling a fun creative challenge, so if you've got something in mind, do drop us a line and we'll see what we can do! We'll update our party options soon - probably after our Nimble Arts February holiday club!

Nimble Arts are now taking bookings for the parties in the Spring, but we have a few days available in November and December too (and may be able to squeeze in something in October if you're flexible with dates!). Details of our parties are on our website at http://nimblearts.co.uk/?page_id=881, and are normally delivered by Becky and Catherine from Nimble Arts! Offerings range from immersive detective mysteries, Jedi training schools, arts and crafts spectaculars and storytelling, music, songs and games..

Here's some feedback from one songs, stories and music party last weekend:

"Thank you so much for today. You were a huge hit with all the children, especially T who was retelling many of your stories at home at bedtime. You did exactly what I hoped you would do, keeping the children entertained, mesmerised even, whilst their parents enjoyed afternoon tea. The cello music was a wonderful touch - I felt a complete sense of calm come over the cafe when you played, by both children and parents alike! Thank you so much."

    • CPR Dave, attendance records are available on Southwark's website. Maggie Browning has attended 100% of meetings. Jon Hartley has attended 65%.
    • I do hope NOT, wouldn't trust Farage as far as I could throw him, Starmer & co.  He's backed by GB News which focus's predominantly on immigration while the BBC focus predominantly on the Israel - Gazza conflict.
    • Everyone gets the point that Corbynites try to make with the "total number of votes cast" statistic, it's just a specious one.  In 2017, Corbyn's Labour got fewer votes than May's Tories (both the percentage of votes and aggregate number of votes). In 2019, Corbyn's Labour fewer votes than Johnson's Tories (both the percentage of votes and aggregate number of votes); and he managed to drop 2.7 million votes or 6.9% of vote share between the two elections. I repeat, he got trounced by Boris F***ing Johnson and the Tories after the Brexit omnishambles. It is not true that a "fairer" electoral system would have seen Labour beat the Tories: Labour simply got fewer votes than the Tories. Corbyn lost twice. There is no metric by which he won the general election. His failure to win was a disaster for the UK, and let Johnson and Truss and Sunak into office. Corbynites have to let go of this delusion that Corbyn but really won somehow if you squint in a certain way. It is completely irrelevant that Labour under Corbyn got more votes than Labour under Starmer. It is like saying Hull City was more successful in its 2014 FA Cup Final than Chelsea was in its 2018 FA Cup Final, because Hull scored 2 goals when Chelsea only scored 1. But guess what - Chelsea won its game and Hull City lost. Corbyn's fans turned out to vote for him - but an even larger group of people who found him repellant were motivated enough to show up and vote Tory.
    • I guess its the thing these days to demonstrate an attitude, in this instance seemingly of the negative kind, instead of taking pride in your work and have standards then 🤷‍♀️
