Any East Dulwich expats in St Albans?

After years of procrastination the crystal7 family are leaving lovely East Dulwich (sob) due to lack of space. I would love to make contact with any ex locals living there or planning a move to Hertfordshire.


Any tips on relocating with children and how to settle into an area would be very welcome too!


Whether or not I will be able to give up my EDF habit remains to be seen...

I am now ex-St Albans after moving back to ED last year so not quite what you are looking for.


However, if you need any advice on the merits of areas to live, etc.. feel free to be in touch.


I will add one thing, though....the CPZ will make your lives a misery so arm yourself with plenty of parking vouchers as you will not be able to stop anywhere near the town centre without one! [i still have some if needed!].


Its a lovely place, great for families, but I have a feeling that your EDF habit will remain strong.

We moved to Harpenden and never looked back! Fantastic place to bring up a family. There are at least another three families that I know of who moved from ED/Camberwell. I don't actually keep an eye on the EDF anymore but for some reason decided to log on today! PM me with any questions.

      Leon came to sort out a lighting issue for us last week.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave clear, detailed advice about how to avoid in future.  Would highly recommend him.

      My dog has to be medicated to cope with  bonfire night. She’s a rescue so I don’t know what traumatic abuse she experienced. I love the fact that you, Dave CPR, are so unaware of how another can be affected by something that does not personally affect yourself. Blissful ignorance. Lack of Empathy. Cold hearted.

      Not fair on the patients or the consultants, either.  My brother's an ED consultant and he is on his knees - they all have the flu but have to work through it, because it's so busy at this time of year. Adding the strike to this just makes everything feel even more impossible and he's pretty low right now.
