AcedOut
I've secured my bike to a lamppost outside my propery for the last 5 years and have never had an issue.I use Almax chains (Almax Immobiliser Series III):http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/You need to spend around ?70 on the chain and ?90 on the lock, but I highly recommend! macutd
I've had 5 bikes stolen in the 19 years of living in Trossachs Road. I made the mistake of thinking that they were too old to want to steal. My last Bike was carried out of my front garden. You could see the thief's footprints as they had climbed over my window ledge to access the bike. That was a BMW 650 Strada. I now chain to the lamppost and to each other. So far so good!!Oh, Police didn't bother coming out once! kford
I use an Oxford anchor bracket bolted to the front of the house, with an English Chain & lock, both Thatcham approved. No problems yet.
