This year?s bat walk will take place at 6:30 pm on Monday 29th September, 2014. Please meet in DKH Open Space next to the picnic tables. Wear clothing suitable for a walk in the woods. If it is raining heavily then the event will not take place (bats don?t like getting wet!)


Big thanks to Daniel Greenwood for leading the walk, now in its third year.


This year we are a bit late and bats will soon be hibernating so it may be your last chance to see these amazing creatures for a while.

      Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
