Dulwich Books welcome comedian and writer Chris O?Dowd and director Nick Murphy on Tuesday 28th October to chat about their new book Moone Boy, the prequel to their Emmy award-winning TV series.


Chris & Nick will be chaired by John Finnemore, British comedy writer and actor who will endeavour to keep them under control!


Martin Moone is eleven and completely fed up with being the only boy in a family of girls. He?s desperate for a decent wingman to help him navigate his idiotic life. So when best mate Padraic suggests Martin get an imaginary friend ? or ?IF? for short ? he decides to give it a go.


This event will be held in Dulwich Books on Tuesday 28th October at 4.30pm with a limited 40 places up for grabs to hear Chris and Nick read from and chat about the book. Tickets are ?6 for a book and entry or ?3 for entry to the event.     • Unfortunately not a great job. Work done in a rush and delivered late, issues not addressed and poor communication throughout.  
    • Children below 10 are under the age of criminal responsibility and I believe that although it's not strictly legal, police rarely make a fuss about them cycling on the pavement - it's a good way for them to practice regularly. I feel terrified seeing little children wobbling along on the road and would always have rather risked getting into trouble than endangering my child . I once saw a really little child cycling on Lordship Lane with her father and felt so worried I said something - and he told me it was because of people were complaining. In this case it was a tiny child and you weren't injured and nothing was damaged so it seems a bit of an over-reaction. It doesn't seem to me that what the father said to you was particularly rude although if he wasn't supervising I agree that wasn't responsible.
