The Bigger Picture film club will be showing ? ?The Lunchbox? (2013) at 8pm on Thursday, 16 October 2014, Upstairs at East Dulwich Tavern.

Young Mumbai housewife, Ila, tries to spice up her marriage by preparing a special lunchbox to be delivered to her husband at work. By mistake, it is delivered to another office worker, Saajan, a lonely old man. The absence of a reaction from her husband leads her to put a note in the next day?s lunchbox. Thus begins an exchange of lunchbox notes between Sajaan and Ila, which evolves into an unexpected friendship.
