Hi

I am looking for some suggestions for childcare one day a week (could possibly be two), starting in mid December or January (I might be a little early with my planning for this) when I am returning to work.

My son (10 months in December) and daughter (2.5 in December) will be going to a childminder 3 x days a week (Monday - Wednesday) and I was hoping that my mother in law would look after them on Thursdays. I plan to be at home most Fridays- but there might be the odd occasion when I need to work. Unfortunately I am not sure that my mil will be able to commit to every Thursday and therefore am looking for an alternative solution for Thursdays- possibly a nanny / nanny share / student with childcare experience etc.

In an ideal world we would develop a longer term relationship with this individual and they would help with school / nursery drop offs and pick ups as they get older.

Does anyone have any ideas? I really don't want them to go to the childminder for an additional day.

Many Thanks

Claire

    • These have reduced over the years, are "perfect" lives Round Robins being replaced by "perfect" lives Instagram posts where we see all year round how people portray their perfect lives ?    The point of this thread is that for the last few years, due to issues at the mail offices, we had delays to post over Christmas. Not really been flagged as an issue this year but I am still betting on the odd card, posted well before Christmas, arriving late January.
