One to one swimmimg lessons

Hi, has anyone had a good experience? I'd love a recommendation for an instructor that could help my son make the leap in confidence he needs to swim independently (he's almost 6). It would also be great if they had access to a warm pool!. Thanks

Take him down to Beckenham Spa. He can join a class and then arrange some one on ones. The teaching pool is very warm and has a moveable floor, so they make it very shallow for the little ones and they're really good at building confidence.

The Bridge at Sydenham do one to one and the teachers are really good and caring, however there is a long waiting list. We managed to get some one to ones during a half term once and I think you can book a block of sessions through school holidays as they are less busy.

I use a private teacher at Forest Hill pools. She is excellent and has really made my two come on leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. PM me if you'd like her number.

we use a private swimming teacher at the JAPS pool and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds.. worth the investment if swimming is important

they have a list of instructors that use their pool

We also used swimmming teachers at the JAGS pool - my oldest child swam independently on the very first lesson, having been messing about with us trying to teach him for about 2 years, and with him not liking his head in the water etc.

They had a leaflet of all the instructors, giving the ages and standards they teach. Asdk via the JAGS sports centre.

Really good tuition.
