Elephant Removals

Hello,

Sharing my experience with Elephant Removals, I was told by friends and work colleague to try this company as I was not quiet sure where can I find a reliable company. Since I was recommended I knew I was in good hands. They packed and moved my entire content from one end of London to another. I was well pleased with the guys in the office and on field. Brilliant service, good price and most definite friendly. Now I am a new resident in ED.

Do they actually remove elephants?

If so, I have use of their services as I have an infestation of elephants in my garden.

I have also noticed an infestation of young professional looking types who speak at full volume in smug tones, about how much they paid for their property and what improvements they are currently making to said property. I think the infestation has moved here from North London and Clapham/Battersea.

I myself was born and brought up in ED, so this infestation has been especially easy for me to spot.

What was the number?

Is an infestation of young professional looking types who speak at full volume in smug tones any worse, really, than sulky locals who begrudge change, have a chip on their shoulder about their standing in relation to others, and call travellers 'Pikeys' while inferring they are all thieves ?

Hmmm.....

No.

Bit of an improvement IMO.

    • https://www.letslinkuk.net/ I'm interested to know why the OP didn't find this sort of scheme to work, as I would have thought it was much harder to find someone to do a direct exchange with? Does anybody else have experience of a scheme like this? Happy to be persuaded!
    • I personally think is a great idea Bobbly and would love if there was a section for it. I wouldn't offer free gardening under the "for sale" section as I would expect something in exchange and wouldn't expect our cat being looked after for free under the "wanted" section, as an example.

    • I have fond memories of Govinda's I used to go there  back in the 90's (maybe earlier) for an affordable tasty lunch..I was wondering if its still around. Now I have to make a point of going there. Does anyone else remember a really affordable basement cafe run by the church in a street off of Golden Square? parallel to Regent Street? I also used to love the Vegetarian cafe on Neal Street in the basement (Neal Street Cafe?) and there was an inczredible inexpensive authentic Japanese resturant I use to go to with my Japanese friends (who introduced me to it) tucked away behind Long Acre where that brown brick modern building ('modern' I think it went up in the 90's!) now stands that fronts Long Acre and Neal Street..I think it was called Asakasa or something?
