DJ for hire - events/weddings/bars

By day I'm a mild mannered music documentary producer at the BBC.

By night I play a mixture of Funk, Soul, Reggae, Ska, Golden-age Hip Hop (think more Sugar Hill Gang than 50 Cent if you catch my drift), Rock 'n' Roll, Disco, etc?

I consider myself an expert at reading a crowd and playing the right music for them. All my sets are based on bringing the mood up to a crescendo as the venue gets busier (I'll not the sort to thrash it out to an empty room, you need to welcome people in and set the vibe).

As well as playing bars, clubs and festivals I have also DJ'd at events such as the Gipsy Hill Brewery launch party and weddings at venues ranging from a country manor in Devon to Soho House.
