Advice (people giving out their details)

I really cant beleive that somee people especially ladies are giving out their mobile numbers over the net on this forum. forgive me if im wrong but isnt it a little nieve, no offence just thought it may be wise to private message sombody rather than advertise to all and sundry. This is the web we are dealing with here, you know the anonymous cyber realm we often frequent when bored, where anybody is anybody and you never know what freaks are lurking.

yeah but people stick posters up all over town when a pet goes missing, with mobile numbers attached - it's not very different is it?
