Music jam sessions?

hi people, does anyone know if there are any jam nights for musicians in the area please? ie in a pub with a backing band , and musicians are invited to come up on stage and join in and jam

Hi, we have an open mic at the Rose on forest hill road every Thursday. There is no permanent band, but almost always Kenny the bassist and myself (guitar/vocals) available to do blues or other easy songs. Definitely worth a visit at least. Is it for yourself or one of your students?
