Recommended Builder - Really Superb Job

I would like to recommend the builders who finished a renovation project at our place at the end of September. They did a fantastic job, ending up finishing on time and on budget. The company is called DS Renovation. Its run by Raf Dubiel, who works with his brother in law and a great team. Raf's number is 07825 663236 and his email is [email protected]

They worked extremely hard throughout the project, including weekends whenever it was necessary. The quality of the work and the finish was also very high and we really had no issues with them throughout the renovation. The project involved the building of two small extensions and complete remodelling of a large part of the ground floor and installation of a kitchen, new floors, electric, underfloor heating, other plumbing and so on.

We did have some extras but these were all things that we requested and every time it came up I felt that Raf was open and honest in the pricing. He also made some fantastic recommendations and suggestions, which have made the renovation more successful than it would have been. I thought they did a great job of overcoming the inevitable problems when renovating an old house and were very pragmatic. And they are also really good guys, a pleasure to have around and very respectful of your space and the stress that a renovation causes.

In short I can't recommend them highly enough. If you want more details please drop me a line.

They've done a lot of other work in the East Dulwich, Camberwell area and have been recommended on this site before. That is how I found them.

    • Echoed, your efforts are much appreciated, thank you.
    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
