Mikecg
This is quite strange.I responded to a post from another forumite, and I quoted somthing the poster had said, instead of using quote marks I used the lesser than operand at the begining and the greater than operand at the end. what this did was hide that actual comment and put the remaining text in italics, strange?. try it and you will see.Edited because my spelling is a bit naff, but then again its a forum not NewsCorp. Administrator Administrator Posted February 6, 2009 Administrator Share Posted February 6, 2009 It is because the lesser than operand and the greater than operand [pre][/pre]are used in code that can be used to post malicious scripts e.g.[pre][/pre]so we have implemented a security feature that does not allow malicious code. I hope that explains it. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5193-odd-behaviour/#findComment-165985 Share on other sites
