Recommendations for a humanist funeral celebrant/ woodland burial sites

Hello

My partner died recently and I am currently researching the kind of funeral we are going to plan for him. I wondered if anyone had had a good experience with a humanist celebrant relatively local to east dulwich that they could recommend? Also if anyone had a funeral director to recommend that dealt with green burial or woodland burial. Thankfully, I've not been to many funerals and don't have much of an idea where to start.

Thanks for your help.

I'm so sorry for your loss Hannah. Have you had a look at the British Humanist Association ? - https://humanism.org.uk/ceremonies/non-religious-funerals/ You can search for a celebrant on there. Lin Donnelly http://humanist.org.uk/lindonnelly/ conducted a Humanist wedding for us and of course that is a somewhat different occasion but I found her a warm and compassionate person. Good luck.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
