Come along to the Get Well Clinic at ZenYoga on Camberwell Grove for low cost acupuncture in the community setting, where there are several treatment tables in the same room, with the practitioners moving from bed to bed, treating various people at a time, so being able to reduce treatment fees.

We treat most health conditions, from sports injuries, headaches, anxiety, coughs and colds; to cancer, heart disease, autoimmune conditions and chronic pain.

As well as being able to reduce the cost, people enjoy the social environment to treatment in the beautiful ZenYoga studio on Camberwell Grove opposite no.43, SE5 8RE.

Treatments cost ?20-40 (there is no means testing, you choose how much you pay) with a ?10 full diagnosis fee the first treatment. The clinic runs on Tuesdays 3.30-5.50pm, with a further concession of ?15 per treatment for students, the unemployed and pensioners (proof required).

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
