Cockpit Arts Open Weekend Dec 5-7th!

myself (I'm a glass designer maker) and a few other ED artist makers are opening up our studios this coming weekend at Cockpit Arts , Deptford. We are free entry all day Friday 5th 11-9pm and it's ?3 entry for the Sat 6th/Sun 7th...over 50 studios to peek into, chat to the makers and make some lovely original gift purchases! there is a pop up caf?, and kids workshop too.. for more info http://www.cockpitarts.com/shopping-events

early start tomorrow to get everything ready in my studio..it's free entry all day from 11am-9pm..so go on, come along and support these little creative hubs busying away making wonderfully creative products,,,so much more fun and interesting than slogging up to the west end!     • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it.     • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
    • There’s a couple of Gov petitions going on in relation to fireworks at the moment but this one is for banning them entirely except organised displays if anyone wants to sign. This is the only sensible way forward in my view. No one should be able to let them off in gardens or anywhere like that, it’s crazy. I am surprised some of you have said it hasn’t been as bad this year. I live near DKH Saino and it’s been absolutely terrible my way for days. This petition gained about 20,000 just in the last day or so so clearly the appetite is there! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732559
