The hugely popular Bach to Baby is holding the annual Christmas concert at All Saints Church this Friday. It's also our last concert of the Season.

We have a special programme of "Sound the Sackbut!", a rare opportunity to see the great great great great grandfather of the Trombone in concert.

West Dulwich (All Saints Church)

Fri. Dec. 19th, 4pm

Adults: ?10 on the door, Children FREE

Stephanie Dyer, Trombone & Matthew Fletcher, piano

What on earth is a sackbut? Well, we?d rather show you than tell you . . . but here?s a hint: it?s a bit like a trombone! We?re really excited to bring you both instruments for a special festive concert including music for sackbut from the 1600s and Rimsky-Korsakov?s glittering Trombone Concerto. All that, plus your favourite Christmas carols to finish, of course!

In years to come, we might found out who - or which countries - has an interest in testing what happens when you post socially disruptive content online about fake events... In the meantime, thank you to our local teachers and other school workers, police community support officers and police officers. My commute happens to take me past a bunch of schools at dropoff/pickup times, and I noticed a much greater and more visible presence on streets outside/near schools than normal. Annoying as it must have been to be distracted from other important duties, I really value and appreciate them looking out for the kids. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/school-wars-trend-red-blue-london-police-latest-142328025.html https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/jan/01/birmingham-new-year-fireworks-display-centenary-square-police
