JamesH91
Are you looking for a recorder teacher? Perhaps you're getting your child one for Christmas to introduce to them the world and language of music? My name is James Holden. I am a professional performer and teacher with over five years experience teaching children aged 5 to adults in a range of abilities. I am a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and have been taught by and worked with some of the world's greatest classical musicians. I love to teach, and am now doing so from my home in East Dulwich, or locally in students' homes. I like to teach with a supportive, positive approach, and leave it up to the pupil and or their parents to decide whether they would like to do exams, or learn without them. I focus on developing a good sound, technique and knowledge of different repertoire and periods from medieval to present day compositions, fostering a respect for the recorder as a highly diverse and beautiful instrument from the outset. I also offer Theory of Music lessons - giving students an invaluable background and understanding of how music is constructed and written - grade 5 theory being a necessary ABRSM requirement before passing onto grade 6 exam of any instrument. If you are looking for a friendly, highly qualified and experienced local teacher, please do get in touch. Best wishes for Christmas and the new year!James07749 156430[email protected] Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52547-recorder-teacher-available-here/ Share on other sites
