We've a 100% pub this evening, Friday, exuding festiveness with log fires, mulled ciders and wines, splendid ales, delicious food (till 9.30), great music playlists and bonhomie. Bar till midnight.

Saturday evening we welcome back The (dance-tastic) Hit Men, supported by The Rock Choir, for a free evening of top party music, from 8pm.

Sunday we're doing double jazz - The New JazzMags (Blue Note Groove Specialists) from 2pm Ivy House time, and The Neighbours Trio - John Blease, Arthur Lea and Martin Slade on drums, organ and guitar respectively, 7 till 8. Sunday roasts 12 till 4 and normal menu 6 till 8.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
