The Neighbourhood Vet is a vibrant, independently owned veterinary practice that was established just 3 years ago. Our practice has thrived and grown rapidly, and we are now looking for a professional, friendly new receptionist/ administrator to join our team. This primarily "front of house" position is crucial to the continued development of our business. We need a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic person, with exceptional communication skills and a willingness to deliver consistent best quality service to all clients and their pets. Confidence in using a variety of computer software and in answering the telephone is essential. The practice can be very busy so the candidate will need to be calm and efficient, and will need to be able to multitask whilst co-ordinating with our team. Experience of a busy veterinary environment is preferable (but not essential). A degree of autonomy is also required, although the chosen candidate must also be able to function equally well as part of a team. The position will initially be part time (30+ hours; negotiable) which includes every other Saturday (from 8.30am to 3.30pm) however it is anticipated to progress to full time within six months.
