Local dog walker and sitter - spaces available

I'm an experienced dog walker and sitter based on Dunstans Road in East Dulwich. I have a springer spaniel myself and also look after a boxer, a one year old cockapoo and two year old whippet. Most of my current clients use me on an on and off basis that works for them, I am an actor and am very flexible. I absolutely adore dogs and am currently looking for new clients to join my walks, however I do not walk more than five dogs at a time as I think it is important to be able to give all dogs adequate care and attention!

My prices are as follows:

1hr walk - ?10 (Pick up usually around midday and dropped off after)

1hr walk + afternoon sitting - ?15 (Pick up around midday, walk, afternoon at home with me then evening drop off)

All day sitting including walk - ?20

Overnight - ?25

If you are looking for Monday to Friday care I also do a weekly deal where you get one day free.

Please let me know if you are interested in setting up a meeting or have any questions. References available.

Thanks!

Do not under any circumstances use Laurie. She had advertised on another forum with horrendous feedback(same mobile number)

We unfortunately used Laurie last year. We went for the all day sitting and walking service and opted for the overnight stay. She maltreated our dog, it was terribly ill kept, starved, panting profusely, no water was given as promised. There was an issue with our dog not getting along with her own one. One of the local residents reported back to me that she had left my dog LOCKED inside her red ford sierra car for at least 2 hours. It was barking continuosly.I have no evidence that she did not walk my dog - but I suspect it was not walked at all. I had a huge vet bill upon collecting my petrified dog from her. He was nervous. Howling, Clumps of his hair was falling out by the minute.

Awful horrid, appalling service by an amature with no genuine affection for dogs.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

THIS IS NOT ME. I have only publicly advertised my services this January as I was at full time drama school last year until September and only sat and walked for friends.

I have never advertised anywhere else using my own number or another and I have no idea who this person is. I drive a Micra not a Sierra.

I am really upset by this message and have reported it as I am a genuine dog lover and take good care of all dogs left with me.

    • Today we are seeing the impact of increased taxes (employers NI) with tje UK unemployment rate rising  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdxrp7znkdlo Unfortunately, to increase tax burdens will see the economy stall or a recession, as Angelina says, cutting spending, whilst painful short term, is a good way to bring down government borrowing.  True, we don't want to see cuts to services but there are other areas of government spending that can be reduced and with AI impacting all jobs across all businesses, maybe it will also reduce overall staffing costs.
    • or cut costs.  The cost of debt is a huge burden, it cannot be increased.
    • Yes, they should clearly have been more honest on taxes before the election and not backed themselves into a corner. After 14 years of mismanagement and decline, they have to invest and at the same time start to bring borrowing down (otherwise they continues to be at the mercy of the bond markets). Continued cuts / degrading of public services is counter productive (a successful economy and society needs good infrastructure, education and health care).  The single biggest thing they could do to immediately improve growth would be to rejoin the single market, but I appreciate that is difficult politically.  So if you can't significantly boost growth short term, can't cut too much further, and need to raise money without borrowing, that only really leaves taxation.    Of course, where best to target those taxes - that's the real question.
    • Need moving boxes for house move - all sizes / shapes and bubble wrap too if available. Can collect asap.
