Please do respond to n.francis@harrisdulwichgirls copying me if you agree with this or not and why.We think making admissions into a lottery will damage the wider local community."This would effectively, no longer be a local secondary school. Perhaps people will now start to understand that there is a massive downside to schools becoming Academies and therefore entirely independent of each other, with no overseeing body (such as a Local Authority) making sure that local needs are best catered for.
