Hoping the wisdom of the forum can help!

All of a sudden, my Epson wireless printer and my Google Chromecast don't seem to be "connected" anymore. A search for these devices turns up nothing, both from my PC and ipad. Up until a couple of days ago both were working absolutely fine.

As far as I'm aware, nothing has changed in terms of settings, and if they have it's nothing I have done.

I've been Googling, but it's confusing me even more.

I have a BT infinity homehub.

Help?

Pickle,

I think we have also had the same problem this week.

On Tuesday evening my laptop wouldn't connect wirelessly to our HP printer, although it had worked perfectly for the past few years, and was definitely working fine the previous day. We spent a frustrating 4 hours on Tuesday evening trying to sort out the problem, and finally got it working after reloading the printer software and turning everything off and then on again. However, this eventual success was short lived, as it failed to print again the following day! We now seem to have it working again, after repeating the "power everything down then start it all up again" exercise, but I am not very confident that the problem is solved.

Like you, we also have a BT Infinity Home Hub, so I now wondering if that could be the source of the problem?

    • There's quite a difference between going for a run around the footpaths and trying to sit quietly for an afternoon in a wide, grassy area and enjoying the peace & nature. The other two grassy areas in the park are used for sports, and both had barriered trackway running through them. The Parkrun had to be cancelled for at least three weeks, iirc. I'm concerned by your continued reference to "the rye" - the event is held in the park, not on the rye (common). There is a big difference, despite the organisers and council artificially amalgamating the whole area when trying to convince everyone that it's only a small area that is closed off. The railings & gates enclosing the park are a big clue...
    • So have you cancelled your contract with InPost / Yodel now? If so, that's probably caused hundreds of parcels to be stuck in limbo, as they've said to me before that they can't redirect them to a different store. I have a parcel that was refused by you twice, the last time on 5/12, and since then there's been no updates, despite me calling them 3 times. They just say it's being investigated, but if they now can't physically deliver to you then that is obviously the issue. So much for shopping for Christmas presents early, looks like I'll never get them now.
    • I thought I noticed the shop being redecorated the other day when I passed. Also the old Romeo Jones had some works going on, I think
    • Leon came to sort out a lighting issue for us last week.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave clear, detailed advice about how to avoid in future.  Would highly recommend him.
