Always wanted to sing but worried about performing in public? Looking for a group to help coach and support your singing at all levels...?

Want to learn more about music technique and sight singing while having fun at the same time? Then London Sings! is the group for you.

London Sings! is a no audition local community choir which is big in personality and looking to grow. We cater both for experienced singers and those fairly new to singing, with plenty of opportunities for interesting performances. We are even planning a trip to Madrid this year!

We sing a wide variety of pieces ranging from jazz and musical theatre to classical, and from unison through to four part harmony, while having a lot of fun in the process.

We are holding three open rehearsals on Monday 2nd February, Monday 9th February and Monday 16th February and would be delighted if you could come and join us to try us out.

We'll be starting at 19:30 and aim to be finished no later than 21:30 (with a break for snacks and chat obviously!) . Rehearsals will be held at St Matthew's Church, Lilford Road, SE5 9BX.

Please do not hesitate to contact us on [email protected] or by telephone on 07785 905355. More information on the choir can be found on http://www.londonsings.org.uk/

    • Fired Earth as a whole went into administration unfortunately - doesn't seem to have been a Dulwich problem specifically. Does anyone know how much the rent is for these Dulwich Village storefronts?
    • It is most likely gas, with what looks like a stop cock, and although the pipe may well have been isolated later from the supply you should get in a gas safe engineer to remove it. At worst it might need to be capped off beneath the floor boards. Don't interfere with it yourself.
    • Sorry, I know this isn't strictly an East Dulwich topic but as there are so many late-Victorian properties in the area I wondered if anyone has seen anything similar in their house and can advise. We have what looks like an old gas outlet on the back wall of our daughter's bedroom which we'd like to remove, but we weren't sure whether it's safe to do so. Do I just call a registered gas engineer to check it out? And is it definitely a gas outlet or might it be something else? It's at floor level so maybe electricity but it doesn't look like any electricity outlet I've ever seen! Has anyone had any experience of dealing with something similar?
    • Just had a look at the above web sites you listed. Mot tax look for free .but you still need to pay to get service results.sàme as the ones I liste
