rgutsell
My partner was descending from a bus close by Denmark hill on Monday when her knee collapsed very painfully. She was in great pain and unable to stand or walk. The bus driver and other people gathered to assist her, including organising a taxi to take her to A and E (No ambulances)It took time and required patience. If you were any of those people, or know who they are; Thank you very, very much!! twister
It's nice to know people are still willing to help, we are always quick to complain and moan! Sue
That's very heartwarming, thanks for posting it.I hope your partner got sorted out quickly at A&E and is mobile again and not in pain. Sounds horrible. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/53885-to-the-people-that-helped/#findComment-818473 Share on other sites

Peckhamrye
You have my utmost sympathies, but given the proximity of Denmark Hill to A&E I would have thought it would have taken longer to get an ambulance than to nip down and borrow a wheelchair anyway.
