NunheadIsClose
Need a structural engineer for a job in Nunhead. Anyone competent and reasonably priced is good. Just need advice on routing a soil pipe through a concrete post. kristymac1
Have a look on findanengineer.com, you can search via location and structural specialisms. You should also check that the engineer is a member of a professional institution (IStructE, ICE), check IStructE.org member directory to be sure. Good luck! fumet
We also used Bob Jones when we were removing a pillar in our kitchen, putting in an RSJ. Very professional in how he does business, reasonably priced too. He was the only structural engineer that we contacted (of about 5 in total) that actually came round to scope the job before quoting the work. Also, when I had problems with the building work itself, he was available to advise me on what to do.. which is reassuring when you've got most of your house resting on an RSJ!Recommended!
