Private one-to-one Yoga Classes available now in East Dulwich 2015.

Kanga Yoga classes tailored to your needs from the comfort of your own home or from a venue of your choice.

Kanga Yoga is a Yoga style inspired by three authentic yoga practices; Ashtanga, Iyengar and Shivananda. We combine these practices so you receive an all-rounded, in-depth practical session as well as a deeper look into the philospohies of yoga. If you wish to deepen your self-practice or even simply gain more flexibility and strength, these personal classes will help you achieve your goals as well as bring mental clarity and a calming demeanour.

Information on the styles and there benefits:-

Iyengar- A yoga style very much focused on acheiving the correct alignment in your Asana (posture)

Ashtanga- A more dynamic yoga style where you learn to co-ordinate and regulate the breath with the movement of the body. A term which translates to "Vinyasa"

Shivananda- This style is aimed primarily at learning to relax and completely letting go. A deep relaxation will finish the class..

Combining these styles we have formed Kanga Yoga.

    • Dog kennel isn't a great name for a school. I agree that it's ridiculous for the name to put anyone off going there, but don't see any issue with them rebranding if the parents and children prefer a new name. The school is surrounded by historical 'groves' (reflected in the names of Camberwell Grove, Grove park and Grove Vale for example), so it's not a totally random name.
    • It might help if there are body cams to record evidence and a presence maybe a deterrent but I very much doubt a park warden would intervene with obnoxious and violent thugs - children or not. We need police for that.
    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!
