Recommendation for sports massage

Dan Bentley of Bentley Bodyworks is a miracle worker! I'd been struggling with an ITB injury and was unable to run. But one sports massage down at his Saturday clinic on Lordship Lane and I was stretched out and back running. When training for the London Marathon last year, I had regular sports massages with Dan, but I'd got out of the habit now I'm not training so much, which was silly as I always walk out feeling amazing, and Dan's massages really do help keep me injury free for running and cycling. Whenever I recommend him to friends and family they always say similar. Dan was a local but has moved to Bath, however, the good news is he still comes to London most weekends to massage on lordship lane or even at your house. Contact details on his website.

Thanks, "LMitchell" and *dulwichfam" for the kind comments.

Juat wanted to reiterate that I am still very much a regular presence in East Dulwich on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

As the Marathon - and Half Marathon - season approaches I shall be getting pretty busy so I do recommend that you get your appointments booked in to avoid disappointment!

The treatment that people always seem forget to book is the one AFTER their race: a post-event massage helps to disperse lactic acid build up and can significantly speed up recovery time.

Anyone who finds themselves having to walk downstairs backwards for a few days after a race will know they should have been to see me sooner!

Good luck to all of you currently in training. I hope you are all on course to achieve your PBs.

    • A long overdue review for Niko who we have used a number of times over the years, sometimes to properly finish a job that other plumbers have not done properly. He thinks of everything! I only ever use another plumber if it's urgent and Niko is away. A really kind and thoughtful man and totally trustworthy

The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
