Calling all businesses....

Recommended Posts

There is an active East Dulwich Mums Facebook page ( Fathers/Carers can join too ) at https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=564217660390724

and we are hosting a Coffee and Cake Fundraising event on the 3rd of March from 9.30am at All Fired Up Cafe near Goose Green Park to raise funds for Kings College Hospital as part of their 'Together we can/Time is life ' campaign .

We are very lucky to have a good hospital on our doorstep and I thought it would be wonderful if the community could pull together to raise funds for Kings.

As part of the event , we were hoping some local businesses might like to donate something towards the raffle prizes ?

Alternatively any skills/talents that would be useful on the day would be great too.

So far we have a lady doing Neal's yard organic mini pamper facial for ?3 with proceeds going to the hospital .

We also have an some great prizes for the raffle which I'll reveal once they have all been confirmed .

Toni at all All Fired Up is offering coffee and cake at the super price of ?3 .

There is a page to donate if you prefer :http://m.virginmoneygiving.com/mt/uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=EastDulwichMums&isTeam=true&un_jtt_redirect

There is a possible fun run happening in the summer too .

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
