Great Electrician in Herne Hill - Slavek

Dan Browne

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to recommend an electrician I used this week.

After being stitched up earlier in the week by a real cowboy, I was given the number for Slavek.

He's NIC & EIC registered, punctual, clean and tidy and a really nice guy.

Couldn't recommend highly enough!

I would also like to recommend Slavek. I had quite a big task at my flat (in Camberwell) a few months ago, with almost all the downstairs lighting needing to be replaced. Slavek came with his colleague Mike (both really friendly guys) and they did a great job, very quick and reasonably priced.

Big thumbs up! I'll definitely be using Slavek for any other work.

I too would like to highly recommend Slavek. He did an excellent job for me today. He's a genuinely nice guy, good at what he does and charges very reasonable rates. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again in the future. Also, he didn't keep me waiting and arrived when he said he would.

Hi all,

Let me firstly say that I am an NICEIC electrician for 10 years now. Please feel free to go to the following link and search for me :

http://www.niceic.com/Page/SearchContractors

Enter "Krause Electro" and you will find my listing. You will also find that I am an "electrical contractor" and not just a "domestic installer" ... This means that not only can I rewire your house but I can and have also rewired shops, restaurants, farms and work units or for that matter any residential, commercial or industrial property of any scale.

Please click the link below and you will find The Crystal Palace Market, a new 4 unit restaurant, fishmonger and butchers commercial premises located 3-7 Church Street, Crystal palace. A restaurant and additional units that I rewired in 2013. A lovely place with a particularly warm "ohmbience" due to some special lighting... even if I do say so myself ;)

Hopefully this dispels any myths.

If you would like to hire me please get in touch.

Many thanks,

Slavek.

Hello all,

It annoys me to have to spend time validating this post to sceptics. But I guess that's the world we live in? Yes this was my 1st post but being new to the area I've never had the need to call on any local services.

This forum was NOT the 1st place I looked on for advice on a local electrician and as a result I had a really bad experience.

I called one of the highly recommended guys on this site who was unfortunately not available but did how ever recommend Slavek. When Slavek asked how I got his details I told him about this forum and forwarded him my written recommendation so that he could get other clients to validate his great service.

I hope the couple of doubters on this thread will not deter people from giving Slavek a call.

Have a good week.

Dan

    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
    • @Jenijenjen I assure you we are always polite and friendly too! Which is why the behaviour we have been receiving is so frustrating. The kids always leave her with a “Thank you have a lovely day”  Our concern is leaving the gate slightly wedged doesn’t stop the action of slamming it open and closed…still leading to damage
    • If you're talking about who I think you are, I find them more exuberant than rude and usually smiling and polite. But then, I'm usually smiling and polite to them. Can you not wedge open your gate when you're expecting them?
