Greek Island Holiday

Looking at holidays in Greece and i'm overwhelmed with choice!

I would be grateful if anyone has any destinations/villas to recommend! Ideally looking for relaxing sandy beaches with a bit of town buzz subtitle for a family of 4 with an 18 year old and 22 year old, who would like to go out in the evenings.

At the moment i'm looking into Kefalonia, Has anyone been there?

Yep, Agia Efemia many years back. It was lovely.

For some young adults you'd probably need to be nearer the main town than we were, but I was in my early twenties and perfectly happy to loll around liitle bars in quiet resorts.

Kefalonia, fiscardo was lovely. Nice harbour with restaurants etc. V popular with Italians and mainland Greeks. Some nice small beaches but bit pebbley. August was searingly hot. The super yachts of the rich and famous Moor there. Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen were apparently on the big yachts when I was there.

I found Corfu to be a truly terrible dusty dump- its really has fallen on hard times and you can see it
