Free Children?s Storytelling with Gareth Edwards Saturday 21st March

Recommended Posts

Join us for a special Storytime session hosted by Gareth Edwards, author of ?The Disgusting Sandwich? and ?Never Ask a Dinosaur to Dinner?, introducing his brand new book ?Fabulous Pie?.

Deep in the forest, a very bad bear is baking a fabulous pie. All the woodland animals want to help him find the perfect filling, so they bring him their favourite foods: berries, nuts, honey and salmon. But the bear has a better idea for what can go in the pie... the animals themselves!

The event is free, but space is limited so we recommend you book your place in advance. Suitable for ages 7 and under. Book your place in person at Dulwich Books, 6 Croxted Road, West Dulwich, London SE21 8SW, by phone 020 8670 1920 or by visiting http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/dulwich-books-1098418481.

Plus, our regular Storytime sessions on Thursdays and Saturdays at 11am are back, suitable for ages up to seven (Storytime sessions are free, no booking necessary).

    • Well I did say I stand to be corrected! Fair enough, their website only seemed to list three branches. Perhaps it's a franchise model?  It's known as 'agglomeration' in economics Rookie error.
    • I didn't know there was a word for that — thanks!
    • This is just normal business behaviour. That's why there are so many coffee shops in ED and shops selling gifts and interiors stuff, clothes, restaurants.  If there's more than one business of a similar type then it can benefit all of them up to a saturation point and keep up quality. It's all sounding like many think Chango has made a malicious move when it actually sounds like it's owned by one guy who has a good business that has done well.   Anyway this is all great advertising for both empanada places. Very close by is the organic grocer who sells really good value and very tasty samosas and other Indian snacks which are also worth trying.
    • Hello, Does this lovely little panther have a name? & Is he neutered & microchipped?
