Lucy Sparkles is local and qualified music, drama and dance teacher and entertainer who specialises in working with children aged 0 - 6. Her classes are educational, engaging and fun! All lessons are linked to the EYFS and Key Stage One national curriculum and her music classes are Kod?ly based.

No classes during Half term Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February (10 weeks)

Lucy Sparkles Friday Music for 0 - 4s at 10am & Friday Dance for 2 1/2 - 4s at 10:40am, All Fired Up Cafe

The music class employs both Kod?ly and Dalcroze principles. We apply the same fun, thoughtful and tested structure to each weekly session in order to establish a comfortable and friendly environment for children. We help them to develop their musical, physical, emotional and intellectual skills through live guitar, physical action and familiar songs, listening and moving to live and recorded music and by playing along on percussion instruments.

Our creative dance classes will develop your children?s self-expression and creativity while improving their body awareness and fitness. Each 30-minute session follows EYFS guidelines and contains elements of ballet, jazz, creative and aerobic movement and tap. We believe that children deserve the best. So all of the music we use is of the highest quality, carefully selected to suit the theme and mood of each dance. If you?re looking for dance classes that will engage the bodies and imaginations of your children, then Lucy Sparkles is for you!

Lucy Sparkles Musicianship classes for 4 - 7s at 4pm, Mondays (Christ Church Barry Road), Wednesdays & Fridays (All Fired Up)

These classes are Kod?ly based and teach musicianship through singing. They are designed for children who would like to prepare for learning an instrument, children who are already learning an instrument, or for those children who just love singing! Please see the attachment for more details.

    • Between Herne Hill and North Dulwich gives you good options for transport. You have the line into London Bridge, trains to Victoria and the Thameslink into City Thameslink. Plus it's not too far from Brixton tube.
    • Wow - will do as you say - just find it extraordinary one needs to post something so trivial as this on forum - each to their own. Been a%member for a long time and know the-forum well - bought sold, given things way, had hubs and offered advice…
    • You do know that this post is the reason that forums exist? So that people can ask for help, advice etc.  I'm not sure what "...daughter of mothers"  means but if you mean friends, not everyone has friends, or is confident enough to ask other mums at the school. Oh and you it's nothing to do with your age -  be kind, be helpful or if you can't, leave it to someone who can.
    • We got our daughter's done at Superdrug. They have a designated, trained member of the team so it's not just a random shop assistant who does it.  It was fine, there's not much to say other than the piercings are in the right place and there's been no problems afterwards
